Each English paragraph with its Hindi translation directly beneath it, in one EPUB. Read the English first; the Hindi is there for the sentence that will not come apart.
The first 15 pages of text are sent to our server to be translated. The file itself stays on your device.
English and Hindi arrange a sentence almost backwards from each other — English puts the verb in the middle, Hindi puts it at the end, and Hindi's postpositions come after the noun where English's prepositions come before. That is why a learner can know every word in a sentence and still not have the sentence, and why a dictionary is no use at that moment. Seeing the whole thing rebuilt underneath is.
Your browser opens the EPUB, walks each paragraph and inserts the Hindi beneath it as a sibling paragraph inside the original file. Only the chapter documents that receive a translation are rewritten, so cover, navigation, stylesheet and metadata pass through as they were.
Stacked rather than facing columns — EPUB text reflows to the reader's screen and font size, and columns cannot hold their alignment once it does.
A DRM-free EPUB. The bilingual file is assembled in your browser, not on a server.
The cast and their genders are mapped once, so the Hindi verb agreement stays steady from chapter to chapter.
Each translation is styled beneath its paragraph, easy to tell apart at a glance.
A complete EPUB carrying the book's own fonts and stylesheets. Devanagari renders in every modern reader.
Your eye will go to the Hindi. Read the English paragraph first, every time. The moment of not understanding is the practice.
Fifteen pages get translations. The rest of the book stays in English inside the same file.
The text is sent to a server and discarded when the job ends. The file never leaves your device.
Stacked, not side-by-side — which is also what makes it usable on a phone, where most of this reading actually happens.
English first, every paragraph. Give yourself the few seconds of not understanding before you look down — with this pair that moment is usually a word order clicking into place.
Yes. Kindle has accepted EPUB directly since 2022 and renders Devanagari including conjunct consonants; email the file to your device or copy it across.
Because the difficulty is structural rather than lexical. The words are learnable from a dictionary; the rearrangement is not, and the only efficient way to absorb it is to see the same sentence both ways, repeatedly, in real prose.
Yes. The browser rebuilds the archive entry by entry and only rewrites the chapter files that received a translation, so everything else passes through untouched.
