Upload an EPUB, pick a language, and get the first fifteen pages back as a proper ebook. The model reads the entire book before it starts, so character names and tone stay consistent from the first page.
The first 15 pages of text are sent to our server to be translated. The file itself stays on your device.
Most free translation tools feed your book to a model one paragraph at a time. The model never sees who the characters are, so a name rendered one way in chapter one comes back differently in chapter two, and a formal narrator drifts into casual halfway down the page.
This one reads the whole book first — all of it, not a sample — and writes itself a guide: every character name and how to render it, the recurring places and terms, the narrative voice, the tense, the idioms that need consistent handling. Only then does it translate, with that guide in front of it.
The free sample covers roughly the first 4,500 words, about fifteen pages. You get a complete EPUB back: the sample translated, the rest of the book still there in its original language.
A DRM-free EPUB. The file itself never leaves your device — only the text does, and only for as long as the job runs.
It builds a guide of character names, places, tone and narrative voice from the entire book. This takes about ten seconds and is what keeps the translation consistent.
About 4,500 words, translated as one continuous narrative rather than as isolated sentences, so the prose reads as prose.
You get a complete EPUB. Open it here in the browser reader, save it, or carry on with the whole book in the app.
It translates the first fifteen pages, not the book. The remainder stays in the file untouched, in its original language, with a marker where the sample ends.
The text is sent to a server. Unlike the converters on our tools page, this one cannot run in your browser — the model lives elsewhere. We send the book's text, keep nothing after the job finishes, and never store the file itself.
Machine translation is a safety net, not a second author. It handles meaning well. Style, humour and wordplay it flattens. Do not conclude a joke was flat in the original.
DRM-protected files will not open, and removing DRM is not something we help with. Work from your own writing, Project Gutenberg, Standard Ebooks, or any publisher selling unlocked files.
About 4,500 words — roughly fifteen pages, measured in words so a short book and a long one get the same deal. Five books a day per person.
The file stays on your device. Your browser opens the EPUB, pulls out the text, and sends only that. Nothing is kept once the job finishes, and the file is never stored.
Twenty-four, including Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Arabic and Hebrew. Pick one after you choose the file.
A chatbot sees only the chapter you paste. It has no idea who the characters are, so names and tone drift between chapters. This reads the whole book first and translates against a guide it built from it.
About forty seconds for a full-length novel: ten to read the book, thirty to translate the sample. You can watch the progress; nothing is lost if your connection drops.
