Upload a Korean EPUB and get the first fifteen pages back in English. Korean encodes the relationship between two people in the verb ending of every sentence — information English has nowhere to put.
The first 15 pages of text are sent to our server to be translated. The file itself stays on your device.
Korean speech levels are not politeness decoration; they are grammar. Whether a character ends a sentence in -습니다, -어요 or plain -어 tells a Korean reader the exact standing between speaker and listener, and it can shift mid-scene when that standing changes. English has no equivalent, so the translator has to carry it in word choice and rhythm instead.
That is impossible to do consistently one paragraph at a time. Reading the whole book first lets the model fix each relationship before it starts, so a character who speaks formally to their boss keeps sounding that way, and the moment a relationship shifts still reads as a shift.
Titles are the same problem in a smaller package. Sunbae, hyung, noona, ajussi — keep them or render them, but do it the same way throughout.
A DRM-free EPUB. The file stays on your device; only the text is sent.
Every character, how they address one another, and at which speech level — fixed once, from the whole book.
About 4,500 words, translated as continuous prose so shifts in register read as shifts rather than as noise.
A complete EPUB with the original's Hangul fonts and styling intact.
Speech level cannot be translated, only approximated. English carries it in vocabulary and rhythm, which is thinner than a verb ending. The guide makes the approximation consistent.
Fifteen pages, not the book.
The text is sent to a server and discarded when the job finishes.
Web novel slang ages fast. Very current internet Korean may come out flat or over-literal.
Through word choice, sentence rhythm and formality of vocabulary — the only tools English has. It is an approximation, but a consistent one, because the relationships are decided once from the whole book.
It picks one approach for the book and holds it. Keeping them suits fiction where the relationships are the point; rendering them suits prose aimed at readers with no Korean.
Yes. Only the text is replaced; the book keeps its own fonts and stylesheets.
Yes. They gain the most from whole-book reading, because they carry long casts and shifting relationships that a per-chapter translator cannot track.
