Upload an Indonesian EPUB and get the first fifteen pages back in English. Indonesian verbs carry no tense, so every English sentence has to commit to a time the original never stated.
The first 15 pages of text are sent to our server to be translated. The file itself stays on your device.
An Indonesian sentence says what happens; when it happened was established earlier by a time word, or by the shape of the story, and the verbs say nothing more about it. English offers no such option — choose a verb and you have chosen a tense. Choose wrong and the sentence reads perfectly while putting the event in the wrong part of the narrative, which is the most dangerous kind of error because nothing about the output looks wrong.
The same applies to number. Indonesian marks a plural by repeating the word, or often not at all, leaving it to context. English must decide singular or plural in almost every noun phrase.
Neither is solvable inside one paragraph. The model reads the whole book first and builds a guide — the narrative frame, the cast, the recurring terms — and the sample is translated against it.

The time frame of the narrative and the cast are established first, which is what makes English tense come out consistently.
About 4,500 words as a complete EPUB you can download or read here.
Tense is inferred. The Indonesian did not state it. Reading the whole book makes the inference well-grounded rather than certain, and a scene that shifts time without a marker can be placed wrongly.
kita and kami both become "we". Whether the listener was included is information English cannot carry in the pronoun, so it has to be implied or lost.
Fifteen pages, not the book. About 4,500 words.
The text is sent to a server and discarded when the job finishes.
From the narrative frame established across the whole book. This is the strongest case for reading the entire text before translating anything: an Indonesian paragraph very often contains no time information at all, and deciding per paragraph scatters one scene across several tenses.
They become names or pronouns as the English sentence needs. Indonesian frequently addresses people by a kinship term where English would say "you", and rendering every one of those literally produces English that reads as a costume drama rather than as speech.
Yes, and reading the whole book first is what keeps a colloquial voice colloquial instead of drifting into formality partway through. Regional vocabulary is read as what it is rather than treated as a mistake.
About 4,500 words, roughly fifteen pages, five books a day.

The app translates the entire book and can show the English beside the Indonesian, so the original is there when the English has to commit to something Indonesian left open.
