Upload a German EPUB and get the first fifteen pages back in Italian. Both languages write their formal pronoun with a capital letter — which is about where the similarities end.
The first 15 pages of text are sent to our server to be translated. The file itself stays on your device.
German packs a phrase into a single noun; Italian spreads it back out with prepositions. The expansion is never quite forced, so the same compound can be unpacked several defensible ways — and over a book that is the decision that matters, because a recurring concept unpacked inconsistently stops reading as recurring.
The sentence shape has to be rebuilt too. German parks the verb at the end of a subordinate clause; Italian will not wait that long. A clause cannot be converted as it is read, only understood and rewritten.
What comes free is the formality. Sie and Lei do the same job, and both are conventionally capitalised, so the relationship stated in the German transfers to the Italian without any inference at all.
A DRM-free EPUB. The file stays on your device; only the text of the sample is sent.
Recurring compounds and terms are collected into a guide, so each gets one Italian rendering and keeps it.
About 4,500 words, rebuilt as Italian sentences rather than converted clause by clause.
A complete EPUB with the book's own styling, punctuated as an Italian edition would be.
Compounds become phrases. One German word becomes three Italian ones, so the Italian is longer and more explicit than the original.
Sentence structure is rebuilt. Where German holds a clause open longer than Italian comfortably does, the sentence is reorganised — consistently, as part of the register set from the whole book.
Fifteen pages, not the book. About 4,500 words.
The text is sent to a server and discarded when the job finishes.
Yes — the direct result of reading the whole book before translating anything. Recurring compounds go into a guide, so a concept named once keeps that name across the sample rather than being re-invented each time it appears.
Yes, directly, and both are written with a capital letter by convention. The relationship is stated in the German, so it does not have to be inferred.
They are reorganised into Italian sentences. German can hold a clause open in ways Italian will not, so preserving the structure literally would produce something grammatical and unreadable.
About 4,500 words, roughly fifteen pages, five books a day per person.
