Translate an English book into Turkish

Upload an English EPUB and get the first fifteen pages back in Turkish. An English name entering a Turkish sentence has to grow a suffix, and which suffix depends on how the name sounds.

The first 15 pages of text are sent to our server to be translated. The file itself stays on your device.

Turkish attaches its grammar to the end of the word, and the attached piece changes shape to match the vowels of the word it lands on. A foreign name is no exception: it takes an apostrophe and then a suffix chosen by its final vowel and consonant. Sarah'ya but Robert'e. Get it wrong and every sentence containing that name is subtly off, which is the clearest signature of a machine translation into Turkish there is.

The same machinery means a single Turkish word can carry what English needs a whole clause for. Sentences therefore cannot be converted piece by piece; they have to be understood and rebuilt, with the verb moving to the end where Turkish keeps it.

Names, recurring terms, tone and the sen/siz map are all settled once from the whole book, so the same name takes the same treatment on every page of the sample.

How it works

  1. Choose your English EPUB

A DRM-free EPUB. The file stays on your device; only the text of the sample is sent.

  2. The model reads the whole book

Names and recurring terms are fixed once, so the same name takes the same suffix treatment everywhere.

  3. The first 15 pages come back in Turkish

About 4,500 words, rebuilt as Turkish sentences with the verb where Turkish puts it rather than where English did.

  4. Download, or read it here

A complete EPUB. The translation paragraphs are set to wrap, so a long agglutinated word cannot push the page sideways on a phone.

What this free tool does not do

Fifteen pages, not the book. About 4,500 words, counted in words rather than chapters.

Very long words are normal here. A single Turkish word can be a whole English clause; the styling lets those wrap rather than overflow, which is the fault you see in most hand-made files.

sen or siz is inferred. The English never said which. The guide makes the choice consistent across the sample.

The text is sent to a server and discarded when the job finishes.

Questions

Do English names get the right Turkish suffixes?

That is the first thing to check in the sample. Names are handled inside whole sentences rather than substituted from a list, which is what allows the suffix to be chosen by how the name actually sounds — and reading the whole book first is what keeps that choice identical on every appearance.

How is sen vs siz decided?

From the relationships mapped across the whole book, then held. A paragraph in isolation does not say whether two characters are close, so a per-paragraph translator re-guesses and the formality flickers.

Do long Turkish words break the layout?

No. The translation paragraphs carry styling that lets an over-long word break across lines instead of forcing the page to scroll sideways.

How much is free?

About 4,500 words, roughly fifteen pages, five books a day per person.
