Each Russian paragraph with its Ukrainian translation directly beneath it, in one EPUB. For two languages this close, the parallel form is a correction tool rather than a crutch.
The first 15 pages of text are sent to our server to be translated. The file itself stays on your device.
If you read one of these you understand most of the other, which is exactly why a parallel text earns its place. Comprehension is not the gap; accuracy is. The ordinary words that mean different things, the ones that mean opposite things, the vocative forms that look unfamiliar — none of those announce themselves, and without a second version in view there is no moment at which you would discover you had them wrong.
This is also the practical shape of moving between the two as an adult: not learning a language from scratch, but replacing a thousand small assumptions, one page at a time.
Your browser opens the EPUB, walks each paragraph and inserts the Ukrainian beneath it inside the original file, rewriting only the chapter documents that received a translation.
A DRM-free EPUB. The bilingual file is assembled in your browser, not on a server.
Names are fixed once across every case form, so the same character is recognisable throughout.
Each translation is styled beneath its paragraph — styling that does real work here, because both blocks are Cyrillic and look alike.
A complete EPUB carrying the book's own fonts and stylesheets.
Both blocks are Cyrillic. That is why the translated paragraph is set smaller, in a different colour, with a rule down its edge — otherwise the two would run together on the page.
Skimming defeats the purpose. Read the Russian, decide what you think it says, then check.
Fifteen pages get translations. The rest of the book stays in Russian inside the same file.
The text is sent to a server and discarded when the job ends. The file never leaves your device.
Russian first, and check rather than glance. With a pair this close the half-right reading is indistinguishable from the right one until you look.
The translated paragraph is smaller, in a different colour, with a rule down its edge. That distinction matters more in this pair than in almost any other, because both languages use the same alphabet.
Yes — that is the main case for it. When comprehension is not the problem, precision is, and there is no other way to find out which ordinary words you have been quietly getting wrong.
Yes. Kindle has accepted EPUB directly since 2022 and renders both alphabets; email the file to your device or copy it across.
